Welcome to ThreadsReclaimed! 👋
This shop started with one of my favorite things: a great pair of worn-in overalls. The idea was simple—to create a fun, unique piece by upcycling my mother’s and grandmother’s heirloom lace along with other beautiful reclaimed fabrics. What began as a creative experiment quickly turned into something more.
The designs became so popular that strangers started stopping me to ask about them. That was the moment I realized these one-of-a-kind pieces deserved to be shared beyond my own closet.
Why Upcycling Matters
Beyond the style, the mission behind ThreadsReclaimed is important. Upcycling is my way of helping tackle textile waste by diverting clothing and fabrics from the millions of tons sent to U.S. landfills every year.
Instead of producing something new, I focus on reimagining what already exists—giving materials a second life through creativity, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design.
The Creative Process
I spend my days happily hunting through secondhand shops and vintage collections for quality clothing and unique finds—tablecloths, blankets, quilts, fabric remnants, and much more. If it has a funky pattern and good bones, it’s probably coming home with me.
Each piece is carefully redesigned by hand, allowing the original materials to guide the final look and feel. No two items are ever the same, and that individuality is part of the story.
